Who Is Your Faux Fur Spirit Goddess?

During the cold winter months Faux Fur can be a succor, a conduit for individual style, or just plain cool.  This is how to wear faux fur like a Goddess!

1) We like to call this look "Almost Famous!" It's Bohemian, and carefree like Kate Hudson's 'Penny Lane'.  Rock Gods will flock to you,  Roadies will lust after you, and wall street types will wish they were cool enough to date you.

2) The Olsen! She is a double entendre of boho chic, and style icon cool. Her, and her twin could rule the world of fashion--oh wait they do!

3) The Moss Effect! If you are not Kate Moss (who could have her own cult following) this is how to wear faux fur like Kate Moss.

4) The Other Kate! This faux fur vest paired with a button up white lace blouse really reminds us of Kate Bosworth's "it girl" fashion sense. This look is a magnet for indie filmmakers, and hot Swedes.

5) The Fashion Blogger! Don't be afraid to match your favorite faux fur to your shirt or blouse. Same color on color looks classy and sleek.

Me + You

Not many new designers would partner with planned parenthood. The millennials Julia Baylis, and Mayan Toledano are the mastermind designers behind this cute collection of custom dresses and feminist panties called Me + You. They even got their friend Petra Collins (who is the contributing photographer for Rookie Magazine, and in 2013 named byThe Toronto Star as a "Person To Watch". ) to shot their cookbook.

Darling Of The Month - Emma Roberts

At 23 years old  Emma assiduously encompasses everything young and fresh. She is the daughter to Eric Roberts, and niece of Julia Roberts. She recently starred in Gia Coppola's Palo Alto, and has been on two seasons of American Horror Story.  Emma sports a cool blonde bob, and is brazen enough to pose next to a stuffed bear wearing knee socks.

5 Lessons Learned From Only Lovers Left Alive

1) Wearing sunglasses indoors give vampire couples a certain Je ne sais quoi.

2) Blood popsicles are the new black.

3) If your little vampire sister comes to town clad in vintage from head to toe do not leave her alone with your dealer. She will suck him dry, and leave you to deal with the grueling task of disposing of the body.

4) If you make a cool movie about vampires Kate Moss will visit your set, and show you how to properly wear vintage.

5) All rock stars are vampires! This explains a lot.

We are both intrigued, and horrified by this little contraption. What once was considered a novice for thugs is now an art installation in Dumbo Brooklyn. Roopa Vasudevan an artist based in New York City has created gold mouth pieces from 3D-printed grills that use algorithmic data to visualize hip-hop lyrics.

If we were a grill wearing dynamo we'd sport the two babies below.

Bubblicious hot pink lips with a subtle gold grill.
We like to call this ' The Vamp'.

Oh Mother Denim!

Once upon a time there was a cool denim brand called Mother. It was 60's inspired, and soft as a feather.

There is an old saying that like attracts like. Or one cool brand attracts another. Hence, Mother met jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche.

And a new limited edition denim shirt is born.
